Mel is shaping the track to make it super fast and it is getting a lot of new clay. Per Dave Rudisell on the IOW board. Should be some hooked up and flat foot non wingers this year Chuck

25 loads of clay (Just on turn two) Im amazed! Can't say lack of effort here.
He'll be ready to race! As I understand it, Moler has postponed their schedule almost a month

I went down to the burg the other day. there is alot of work still to be completed to race. Everybody is talking about the racing surface what about retaining walls, caution lights on the track flag stand etc. The new clay/dirt is just on the track it will require a lot of packing and grading to make it raceable. I will be surprised it the track is ready for April 6 and 7 to test.
